Temperature-ControlledTransport of Pharma & Healthcare
GDP Service s.r.o. uses FRC-certified refrigerated trailers that are equipped with fixed refrigeration units. This allows us to ensure a stable temperature during transport. We guarantee this by monitoring 24/7 alarms and real-time temperature graphs. For two temperature load units, we can set two different temperatures in one trailer. The result is maximum flexibility and low cost per shipment.
The vehicles we use comply with all European GDP directives for the international transport of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products:
ATP certificate
There is an agreement on the international transport of perishable foodstuffs and specialized means intended for such transport, in our case mainly for the transport of pharmaceuticals. The ATP obliges national carriers to meet certain conditions when transporting food and pharmaceuticals, to use only approved means of transport and to ensure that these facilities are regularly inspected.
Temperature map
It is an analytical and graphical collection of data that evaluates how the air is circulated in a given chamber. Pharmaceuticals can be transported in a temperature regime of +2 °C to +8 °C and +15 °C to +25 °C with the possibility of dividing the cargo space. The aim is to demonstrate that there are no temperature deviations outside the specified temperature interval.
Three-point calibration of temperature sensors
It is a set of operations by which, under specified conditions, the relationship between the values of quantities indicated by a measuring instrument is established. An example is the determination of the error with which a thermometer measures and the adjustment (by means of calibration constants) of the thermometer to indicate the actual temperature value at a given point (in our case, the calibration is always carried out at three points, namely 2 °C, 15 °C and 25 °C). Calibrations are always carried out by an accredited laboratory specialised for this purpose.
